About Us

OUR MISSION, OUR VISION

A PATH TO A NEW LIFE

We started New Heaven Dominion over 17 years ago with a simple but all-encompassing mission: to provide the greater Orange Park area with the foster services its at-risk youth deserved. Today, New Heaven Dominion is an all girl’s home, House of Grace, located in the Middleburg area. Many at-risk youth, ages 10 to 17, have called House of Grace over the past several years.

Our purpose is to build community relationships that will assist us in enhancing the development of skillsets and new behavior patterns. We help our residents build self-esteem and embrace a belief in their own individual potential. Our primary goal is to enable each New Heaven Dominion resident to successfully transition into society with the tools needed to be a productive, able-bodied, thriving young adult.

Within a family group home setting, each New Heaven Dominion resident develops socially acceptable behaviors accompanied by a healthy dose of self-esteem. Training in these skills will equip our residents to lead lives void of the many pitfalls that could entrap them. At New Heaven Dominion, we believe that your past does not determine your future. Our daily work is to help our residents create the lives they envision for themselves, regardless of their starting point in life. In short, we exist to make a difference.

Mission

Our mission is to meet the spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of the residents in our care; and to assist the residents in building a foundation of principles that will be their lifelong guide for successful living.

To touch the lives of young people by giving them hope.  We will do this by providing and partnering with community organizations that will provide the resources necessary to develop character, integrity, respect, and trust; thus preparing them to successfully transition into society as productive and valuable adults.
